Gerard Cosmetics - Hydra Matte Liquid Lipstick

Let me start off by saying i love the formula of the Hydra Mattes, the colours are gorgeous, they are so long lasting, I can comfortably get 6-8 hours of wear out of them. They are extremely pigmented, one coat is all I have ever needed to apply for full coverage, they are very lightweight on the lips and not drying as you would expect from a liquid lipstick. They have a pleasant vanilla/toffee smell but not overpowering like some other brands I’ve tried.
Everything Nice is a deep toned nudey brown which i personally think is the perfect alternative shade if you are not a fan of the dreaded concealer nude lip! I will say that I prefer this colour when I have a bit of a tan as otherwise I feel it makes me look slightly washed out so that is something worth keeping in mind if you’re looking at purchasing this particular colour.
Mile High is a deep pinky mauve that is flattering on all skin tones and my personal favourite. This colour works with literally any makeup look from minimal to dramatic. I have nothing but good things to say about this shade.
Overall at £11 these are in the more affordable price bracket and I would 100% recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a new liquid lipstick. I bought mine from beautybay.com.
