Makeup Revolution - Life on the Dance Floor - Guest List Eye Shadow Palette Review & Swatches
November 21, 2017
I’m
completely obsessed with oranges and reds at the moment so when I saw the
Makeup Revolution palette I knew I had to have it. Now, can we just talk about how
beautiful it is? I mean have you seen it? It’s soooo
stunning.
The packaging
is heavy and looks and feels expensive, it has a nice big mirror in the lid
like most of the Makeup Revolution palettes, I do love a mirror in a palette as
they always seem to come in handy, especially when travelling. I always end up
relying on an eye shadow palette for my mirror.
The
colours in this palette are amazing, a range of orange and plum tones, some
mattes and some shimmers, all equally beautiful. I chose the Guest List Palette
in particular as I felt the other two had similar shades to some of my other
palettes (but looked gorgeous all the same). The shade names are also really fun which you know i always appreciate. The colours in this palette are becoming more
and more popular and, although not everyone’s cup of tea I know a lot of people
who would love this in their collection.
The formula of these shadows are really nice and soft, some are slightly chalky but nothing extreme, like all makeup revolution eye shadows, there is some fall out but using a light hand keeps fall out to a minimum. The pigment is definitely there and all the shades are consistent. They blend out super easy and keep their true colour when blended.

The palette
is £10 and is available from the Tam Beauty and Superdrug. There are 24
x 1.1g eye shadows.
My
final thoughts are, go and buy it right now, seriously. I love this palette so
much, literally every single thing about it, the packaging, the colours, the
pigment, the blendability and the price. Apart from the slight fall out I
mentioned earlier I really have nothing but positive things to say.
